PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a teaching toy which enable even an infant to easily make calculation of numbers up to 20 including complementary numbers. SOLUTION: Five pieces and five pieces of beads are passed through thin sticks of bamboo in an upper stage and ten pieces in a lower stage to allow operation from right to left. Removable wood is fitted to the lower stage.
