PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber housing body which prevents an optical fiber drawn out from the inside to the outside of a casing body from bending and breaking and also which surely fixes the optical fiber, in a state of being drawn out by a suitable length. SOLUTION: In the optical fiber housing body, where the optical fiber 2 is stored in the hollow part 10a of the casing body and a part of the optical fiber 2 is drawn out to the outside of the casing body through a through-hole 4 provided in the casing body, a cylindrical elastic body 3 is inserted into the through-hole 4. Moreover, the optical fiber 2 is inserted into the cylindrical elastic body 3, the cylindrical elastic body 3 is stuck and fixed to the casing body in the inside of a first recessed part 6, and also the optical fiber 2 is stuck and fixed to the casing body in the inside of a second recessed part 7.
