PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate turbulence of an emitted light to conduct accurate measurement, when a light emitting end part of a measured optical fiber is fixed to measure the emitted light from the measured optical fiber. SOLUTION: A fixing part for the optical fiber is constituted of a fixing member 2 having a laying face 2a, and a press member 3. An optical fiber positioning groove 2b is formed as an optical fiber positioning part in the laying face 2a of the fixing member 2. The measured optical fiber 1 is positioned in the positioning groove 2b, and pressing force is applied to the press member 3 to fix the optical fiber 1. The pressing force is applied to make the maximum compressive stress applied to a clad surface brought into 5.2 gf/mm2 or less, so as to make a condition of signal light propagated in the optical fiber hardly disturbed thereby.
