PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepladder with handrails easily pulled out when used, not bulky in the folded state and presenting a fine appearance. SOLUTION: This stepladder is provided with handrails at the upper end part of a stepladder body comprising a pair of body pipes, lateral bars horizontally laid between the body pipes, and a support pipe. It is so constituted that a straight pipe part of the handrail can be fitted in an extensible manner into a straight pipe part of the body pipe, and the handrail is constituted to be locked at a specified part of the body pipe.
