PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pit type parking device capable of sufficiently utilizing an underground space without increasing a production cost and couplicating a device configuration. SOLUTION: This four stage N row pit type parking device comprises a holding frame 22 movable laterally 6 at a second story above the ground B and a second vehicle storage part 3 having a second pallet 23 hoistable between the position B and a first story above the ground. Two or more second rolling element 24 installed on each of the front and rear frames 22a and 22b of the holding frame 22 are disposed on a second rail 26 laterally installed at the upper end part of a first column 25 fixedly installed on a ground surface 11 at the both side front and rear of the holding frame 22. The second rolling element 24 is interlocked with a second drive means 27 fixedly installed on one side frame 22d of the holding frame 22, and the second rolling element 24 is rolled on the second rail 26 to move the holding frame 22 in lateral direction.
