PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external facing material lining method of a building capable of efficiently and easily mounting an external facing material on an exterior wall from the inside of the building, specially promoting workability of mounting the external facing material near to the roof and, at the same time, ensuring sufficient water proofing property and air permeability specially in a narrow space. SOLUTION: The external facing material 8 on the upper part of a wall surface is mounted in a state that sheathing roof boards on the roof are omitted. The external facing material 8 is longitudinally stuck on the roof and, at the same time, a waterproofing sheet 13 is longitudinally stuck on a skeleton side.
