PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a getting on and off property for an occupant by lowering the front edge of a seat face when a rotary seat is rotated in a laterally directed position on a vehicle outer side so that the seat face comes to be nearly horizontal position. SOLUTION: In a rotary seat 1 for a vehicle wherein a seat face 10 is in a slope shape tipped up at its front end and which is rotatable in a forwardly directed position or in a laterally directed position in a vehicle outer direction facing to a boarding port of a vehicle by means of a rotary mechanism 2, the rotary mechanism 2 inclines its rotary center shaft CL toward a vehicle outer side and a vehicle rear side to a vertical direction, sets an inclination angle of the rotary center shaft CL to a vertical direction Y at the same angle as an inclination angle of the seat face 10 to a horizontal direction Z, and makes the seat face 10 of the seat 1 to be nearly horizontal position when the seat 1 is rotated in a laterally directed position in a vehicle outer direction.
