PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect collector capable of catching mainly flying insect pests such as gnats, mosquitoes and small winged insects with one through without touching the insects with the hand, made from a material mild to the nature, and capable of being treated as a combustible waste, because recently new infectious diseases mediated by the insect pest or the like are discovered one by one though mankind seems to overcome the infectious disease, and the removal of the insect pest becomes an immediate problem. SOLUTION: This handy insect collector is entirely made from a reclaimed paper, and is mild to the nature. An adhesive (an adhesive sheet) is applied on both side surfaces of a racket so that the insect pest may be caught by shaking the racket right and left. When the collector is not used, and is carried, the collector can be stored cleanly by only reversely folding the collector without any annoyingness such as requiring another accessory for closing the collector. The collector can be used for several times and can be treated as the combustible waste as it is by closing the collector when disposing the collector.
