PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an unnecessary treated material attached to a harvested vegetable after adjustment not be held in a storage body. SOLUTION: In this vegetable harvester in which a vegetable cultured in a field is pulled out, transported to the rear part of a machine body while being properly subjected to adjustment treatment, transported in the lateral direction by a lateral transportation apparatus at the end of the transportation and held in the storage body installed at the side of the machine body, the vegetable harvester is characterized in that the lateral transportation apparatus is divided into a first transportation apparatus which exists at the upstream of the transportation and whose end is not faced to the storage body and a second transportation apparatus which has a transportation route different from that of the first transportation apparatus, is connected to the first transportation apparatus and whose end is faced to the storage body.
