PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry to a specified site for the feeder a transportable reserve tank charged with yeast cream obtained from a yeast production line, to provide such a transportable reserve tank capable of highly efficiently feeding necessary amounts of yeast cream into a production line for foods such as bread using yeast through connection to the feeder, and to provide a method for feeding yeast cream. SOLUTION: The subject reserve tank is characterized by having such a construction that an air cleaning means is set up on a portable closed-type reserve tank provided with at least an injection port, an outlet, an intake port and an air vent port; furthermore, this reserve tank also has a temperature control means for keeping yeast cream in the reserve tank at low temperatures and an agitating means for preserving yeast cream in the reserve tank in a homogeneously diffused condition.
