<p>A frequency-variable power detecting means (5) of a multi-carrier amplifier measures the power level of each carrier by changing the detection frequency according to the frequency of a carrier whose electric power is to be measured, and a control means (8) automatically adjusts he power level of the carrier according to the power level. Thereby, the transmission power level of one carrier can be automatically set to a prescribed power level without stopping the existing carriers and without using an expensive spectrum analyzer. This gives advantages to the operation and helps to reduce the labor of maintenance and checking operation.</p> |
