PURPOSE: A lithium secondary battery is provided, to make a battery lose the conductivity at a temperature above a certain point, thereby inhibiting the battery reaction at a high temperature and a high pressure and improving the stability. CONSTITUTION: The lithium secondary battery comprises a cathode which comprises a cathode active material selected from lithium complex oxides, a conductive material, a binder, and a conductive polymer; an anode which comprises an anode active material selected from a carbon material, a graphite material and lithium, a conductive material and a binder; a separator which is inserted between the cathode and the anode; and an electrolyte solution which comprises a lithium salt and an organic solvent. Preferably the conductive polymer is polypyrrole or polyaniline, and its content is 0.5-10 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the cathode active material. |
