PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow structure of pottery which is sealed under reduced pressure. SOLUTION: The hollow structure is closely sealed between outer and inner substances of pottery by joining the mating surfaces of the outer and inner substances. The mating surfaces are porous substances and impregnated and penetrated with molten glaze.
