PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unstacking method for a long-sized material capable of certainly sticking a starting end of winding of the long-sized material to a core. SOLUTION: When the finishing end of winding of a paper web W is positioned in the front of winding drum rolls 22 and 24, a tape sticking device 46 sticks two double-coated tapes to regions before and after the finishing end while a vacuum device box 38 sucks the paper web W. The tape sticking device 46 having a perforating roller forms perforation on the paper web W between two double-coated tapes in the width direction of the paper web W. When the double-coated tapes and the perforation are positioned in the front of a nip N, in a fixing state of the paper web W by a paper passage roll 30, a pressing arm 32 moves a lifted winding roll 28 and the paper web W is cut at the perforation. A new winding roll core 26 is brought into contact with the winding drum roll 22 to form a nip N, the paper web W is passed through the nip N, and the double-coated tape disposed at the winding starting end of the paper web W fixes the paper web W to the new winding roll core 26.
