PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical filter that has reduced transmission wavefront aberration and suppressed distortion of an image.SOLUTION: An optical filter 100 comprises a laminate of a polarization layer 12 and a second substrate 14, and an adhesion layer 16 provided on a surface on the opposite side of a surface of the second substrate 14 on which the polarization layer 12 is laminated. The adhesion layer 16 is formed by applying an adhesive material obtained by diluting a solid component of an adhesive in a solvent at a dilution ratio of five times or less and subsequently drying the adhesive material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
