PURPOSE: A drunkometer test apparatus and method of a mobile communication terminal are provided to prevent a serious incident in advance caused by drinking by allowing a user to measure his or her own drunken state by himself or herself and warning a drunken driving in advance in case of a driver. CONSTITUTION: A drunken state measuring sensor(100) is provided at a certain position of a mobile communication terminal, detects a user's breath flowing in through a suction hole formed at a certain position of the mobile phone and senses alcohol strength of blood. An analog/digital converter(200) converts an analog drunken state measured value outputted from the drunken state measuring sensor(100) into a corresponding digital drunken state measured value. A mobile station modem(300) compares the digital drunken state measured value outputted from the analog/digital converter(200) and an alcohol strength of blood previously stored in a memory(400) and computes it as a percentage, generates a control signal to display the detected drunken state measured value, and displays a data as to whether it is subjected to a regulation according to the drunken state measured value. An LCD(500) displays the drunken state measured value outputted from the mobile station modem(300) and the regulation-subject data on a screen. A key pad(600) includes a drunken state measurement function key and number keys for inputting a phone number.
