PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the newest type link requiring the minimum preparation easily installable in an existing elevator device, and having no adversary influ ence on the riding quality of an elevator car. SOLUTION: This rotary actuator interface device 10 for the elevator car is provided with a drive shaft assembly 20 attachable to the elevator car, and a link assembly connected to the drive shaft assembly and movably connectable to the elevator brake device. The drive shaft assembly can contact with a guide rail of the elevator device and includes a drive wheel 26 rotatably connected to a rotary actuator 24 actuated by the rotation. In starting the rotary actuator, the link assembly movably beings the elevator brake device into contact with the guide rail.
