PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working floor device in a pit for an elevator allowing maintenance work without imposing much load on maintenance workers. SOLUTION: This working floor device is so constituted that a main working table 18 having a first opening 18A capable of loosely fitting a cylinder of a buffer 11 for a car, and second openings 18B and 18C capable of loosely fitting projections of guide rollers 13C and 13D provided under the car 6 is fixed between a pair of guide rails 14A and 14B for the car, sub-working tables 19A-19D are provided between support parts 20A-20D provided inside wall of the pit 10 and the main working table 18, and the sub-working table 19D out of the sub-working tables 19A-19D positioned in a place where a tail cord 8 is lowered, is detachably formed.
