PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a skin cosmetic comprising specific particles dispersed or floated in a relatively low-viscosity fluid base and capable of imparting a beautiful impression because the particles are visible, readily disintegrating the particles and uniformly spreading formulated ingredients when applied onto the skin and realizing a refreshing feeling of use without stickiness. SOLUTION: This skin cosmetic comprises the visually identifiable particles having 0.1-5 mm average particle diameter and dispersed or floated in a transparent or a translucent aqueous base having 300-5,000 mPa.s viscosity at 25 deg.C and 0.7-2.0 specific gravity.
