PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storing container for fermented soybeans or the like, capable of dropping and supplying seasonings into a storing container main body by sticking chopsticks or the like through a lid, capable of mixing the fermented soybeans by stirring them with the chopsticks or the like without removing the lid, and capable of using the container without soiling surroundings of the storing container when the fermented soybeans are stirred. SOLUTION: The storing container for fermented soybeans or the like is formed out of a storing container main body capable of storing therein the fermented soybeans or the like, a lid capable of covering an opening of the storing container main body, rotatable, and capable of making a hole by sticking chopsticks or the like through the lid, and at least one seasoning storing chamber formed on the underface of the lid and capable of dropping seasonings into the storing container main body by sticking the chopsticks or the like into the chamber to open it.
