PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized heat exchanger of high efficiency by a method wherein new comb-shaped fin groups are engaged with parts between comb-shaped fins constituted on both surfaces, and number of fins is increased and pitch between the fins is made dense. SOLUTION: An extruded member (C) having both comb-shaped surfaces is provided with a plurality of fins (6) which absorb heat from fluid and radiate the heat and trenches (8) which are arranged between the fins (6). On a single surface of an extruded member (B) which is constituted of comb-shaped fins (3) and a base (4) constituting the fins (3), trenches (5) corresponding to tips of the fins of the extruded member (C) are newly arranged between the comb- shaped fins (3). By forcibly inserting the trenches (8), (5) which correspond to the respective fin tips of the extruded members (C) and (B) in both of the surfaces of the extruded member (C) when the extruded member (C) and the extruded member (B) are fastened, the heat exchanger wherein one side having a hollow part is arranged on the heat absorbing side, the other side is arranged on the waste heat side, and heat exchange is performed is obtained.
