PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pump drive device capable of feeding a proper amount of fuel to an internal combustion engine according to a variation in load on the internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: A drive voltage supply means for supplying a battery voltage outputted from a battery to an electric pump as a drive voltage to drive the electric pump detects a load on the internal combustion engine based on the engine parameters on the internal combustion engine, generates a voltage higher than the battery voltage according to an increase in engine load, and supplies the voltage to the electric pump as the drive voltage.
