PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To couple a reinforcing member for supporting the load of the fluid pressure between stepped parts provided on a suction flange and an outer casing. SOLUTION: This multistage pump comprises an opening part 20, the outer casing 1 of a cylindrical container shape having a bottom part and a suction nozzle 4 provided in the vicinity of the center of the bottom part 3 with a suction flange 5 fixed to the suction nozzle 4, and the inner casing 6 accommodating an impeller 7 supported by a pump rotary shaft 8 inside the outer casing 1 with a space therebetween. The stepped parts 3-a and 3-b are provided on the bottom part 3 of the outer casing 1, the inner casing 6 is abutted on either inner surface of the stepped parts 3-a and 3-b, the reinforcing member 5a to be coupled with an outer side opposite to either inner surface of the stepped parts 3-a and 3-b.
