PURPOSE: A caller identifying bell sound display method of a mobile terminal is provided to identify a caller only with a sound by using an allocated destination bell sound in case that there is a phone call from a specific caller by correlatively designating and storing a caller number and a destination bell sound in a memory of a mobile phone. CONSTITUTION: The second mobile terminal receives a CNIP(caller number ID presentation) information signal and determines whether it is a called signal calling itself(S50). If the CNIP information signal is a called signal calling itself, determines whether which one of a plurality of IDs or phone numbers stored in a memory is identical to the calling party number(S60). If the calling party number is identical to one of the plurality of numbers, it is displayed to be called or terminated by using a designated or allocated destination bell sound as stored in related to the corresponding phone number(S70). It is determines whether the mobile terminal is being made a phone caller by a user, and if not, it is fedback, while if a phone call is made, it proceeds to be terminated(S80). If the calling party number is not identical to none of the plurality of phone numbers stored in the memory, it is displayed to be called as a general destination bell sound or the second common bell sound(S90). If no phone call communication is made for the mobile terminal by the user, it is fedback to the general bell display, and when a phone call communication is made, it proceeds to be terminated(S100).
