PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing polyester microspheres meltable by a low temperature heating, having good wettability to a material to be adhered, high adhesive strength and excellent durability such as thermal resistance, water proofness or the like. SOLUTION: The method comprises the step of dispersing a molten resin comprising a polyester resin (A) containing both hydrophilic and hydrophobic groups, and having a weight-average molecular weight of 10,000 to 500,000 into an aqueous medium while keeping the molten state, and isolating and obtaining the microspheres for an adhesive.
