PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lighten the weight of an intermediate frame used for a low-floor bus and to improve the productivity. SOLUTION: When the intermediate frame 3 connecting a front side support portion 1 supporting front wheels to a rear side support portion 2 supporting rear wheels comprises cross members 4 extending the car width direction and center rails 5 extending in the front/rear direction, the center rails 5 comprise by linking a plurality of square tubes in the front/rear direction and the cross members 4 comprise square tubes having cross section larger than the center rails 5. After the center rails 5 are made to penetrate through holes 7 formed in the cross members 4, the cross members 4 and the center rails 5 are welded and fixed together so that a floor receiver part comprises without any necessity of a cross sill and the penetration workability of the center rails 5 is improved so as to improve the productivity.
