PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire equipped with an enhanced anti- abrasiveness and capable of exerting both the running performance on the ice and snow and also the running performance on an ordinary road surface compatibly. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire 10 is provided at the peripheral surface with a tread 12 of rubber having a plurality of blocks partitioned by grooves 16 over the circumference. The tread rubber is formed by alternately laminating rubber layers as two sorts of thin films having different foaming ratios. The materials othe two layers are; the first layer 18 with a higher foaming ratio is of foaming rubber while the second layer 20 with a lower foaming ratio is of non-foaming rubber consisting of a rubber substance and carbon, etc.
