PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shoes rack capable of storing shoes without the shoes protruding out of rack panels, although the rack is small in depth, and being thus installable in a small space without hindrance, as in an entrance hall with a small frontage, while covering the front surface of the rack with a door as necessary for enhanced appearance. SOLUTION: The shoes rack comprises a number of storage racks. A first rack portion 2A comprising a horizontally extended rack panel 2 (26) and a second rack portion 2B comprising a rack panel 2 (26) extended in a forwardly and downwardly inclined attitude are provided between the side frames 1 and 1 of the rack. Shoes S of large sizes are stored on the second rack portion 2B to reduce the depth of the rack. An upright wall portion 14 is provided to protrude from one side of the upper surface of the rack panel 2 (26). Using the upright wall portion 14 of the rack panel 2 (26) of the first rack portion 2B, a drop preventer 55 is hung in position to prevent shoes S placed thereon from dropping off the rack panel 2 (26).
