PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of preventing stress from building up in cultured fish, for example, sweetfish or salmon to obtain the fish having the body appearance and meat quality extremely near those of naturally growing fish by growing them through a special cultivation method and the fishing farm therefor. SOLUTION: In order to keep cultured fish, particularly migratory fish that forms groups and swim against the water flow, for example, sweetfish or salmon at a low level of stress, the fish is allowed to swim in a circulated water flow in which both left-curving and right-curving partial flows are included. In the culture pond according to this invention, in order to reduce the stress in the cultured fish typified by sweetfish or salmon swimming in groups against the water flow, the circulated water flow is formed so as to resemble to a natural stream and include both of parts the water flow curves left and curves right and the circulated water flow is communicated to a means for keeping the water flow in the circulated water flow in a certain direction.
