PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing an activated arginine deiminase on an industrial scale. SOLUTION: This method for producing activated arginine deiminase comprises solubilizing a recombinant arginine deiminase inclusion body, diluting and adjusting the resultant solubilized solution so as to be 50 mM to 1.5 M in the potassium ion concentration thereof and pH 7-8, respectively, followed by refolding.
