PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple glass-type level gage of a simple structure in which, even when a liquid leak or a gas leak is generated, the leak can be sensed instantaneously by a method wherein a level inside a container storing a liquid such as ammonia is visually sensed and the liquid leak or the gas leak from the container is prevented. SOLUTION: In the multiple glass-type level gage which is fixed to the outside wall 21 of a closed top container 20, a first reflecting glass 7 and a second reflecting glass 2 are housed multiply via a gasket or the like at the inside of the level gage. By this multiple structure, the liquid leak or the gas leak from the side of the container is prevented. When a leak sensing member which is discolored and reacted due to its contact with the liquid or a gas is housed the gas leak or the like can be sensed instantaneously.
