<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a rotary connector which can increase the height of flexible cable accommodating space of the rotary connector. SOLUTION: This rotary connector comprises a movable housing, consisting of a first rotor member 1 and a second rotor member 2, a fixed housing including a cover 6, a flexible cable 7 and a control member 5. The second rotor member includes an annular holding part 2c, which is projected in the diameter direction; the cover 6 includes an annular wall part 6a and a stepped part 6c, which is continued to the internal circumferential part of the wall part and is bent inwardly in the direction of the housings; the control member includes an annular base 5a and disposes the holding part at the external side of the stepped part to hook the fixed housing, with the movable housing under the condition where the stepped part and holding part be laminated in the axial direction and the internal circumferential part of the base disposed at the internal side of the wall part be disposed at the position deviated in the diameter direction under the condition that it does not overlap on the stepped part.</p> |
