DRIVING STRUCTURE OF AIR CONDITIONER COMPRESSOR OF AUTOMOBILE

PURPOSE: A driving structure of air conditioner of automobile is provided to increase the freedom of design of an engine and to reduce noise. CONSTITUTION: A driving shaft(11a) of a power steering pump(10) and a driving shaft(11b) of an air conditioner compressor(12) are placed coaxially with each other. The driving shafts are connected with each other by a joint shaft(13) to directly transmit power. Damping rubbers are mounted in the joint shaft to intercept vibration and to damp the shock due to sudden acceleration or deceleration to increase the durability of the air conditioner compressor. The driving shafts are directly connected to simplify the whole structure of an engine and reduce the power loss and noise.
