PURPOSE: A check valve is provided to simplify the structure, to improve the seal function and to simplify an assembling process thereof by forming the check valve using refractory rubber. CONSTITUTION: A cylinder block(1) and a cylinder head(2) are respectively formed with oil galleries(3,4) which form a passage for circulating engine oil. The oil gallery(3) of the cylinder block(1) is connected to an oil pump and the oil gallery(4) of the cylinder head(2) is connected to a hydraulic chamber of a hydraulic valve lift. A cylinder head gasket(5) is positioned between the cylinder block(1) and the cylinder head(2) for preventing gas from being leaked. The cylinder head gasket(5) is formed with a perforation hole(6) communicated with the oil galleries(3,4). A check valve(7) is mounted in the cylinder head gasket(5). The check valve(7) includes a rubber seal head(8), a shaft(9) and a separation preventing member(10).
