PURPOSE: A thin-film-transistor liquid crystal display(TFT-LCD) is provided to reduce parasitic capacitance between a gate and a source electrode, by forming a drain electrode of a U or V type and by forming a part of a line-typed source electrode electrically connected to a pixel electrode in the U or V type. CONSTITUTION: The drain electrode(14b) is connected to a data line made of a U- or V-typed pattern. The source electrode(14a) electrically connected to a transparent pixel electrode(16) through a contact hole(18) is made of a line-type pattern. At least a part of the source electrode is formed in the U- or V-typed pattern.
