PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and small metal water heater with superior safety, and to provide an instant water heater therewith and a human body perfusion device. SOLUTION: This metal heater 1 has an insulation layer 4 mainly consisting of crystallized glass laminated on the surface of a metal base material 3; heater resistor 5 disposed on the surface of the insulation layer 3, plural electrodes 6a, 6b connected to both end parts of the heater resistor 5; a protective layer 7 laminated on the surface of the resistor 5; and a power supply circuit for supplying power to the resistor 5 via the electrode 6 to generate heat. The metal heater 1 has a resistance increase means 8 increasing the resistance of the power supply circuit when the resistor 5 is abnormally heated.
