PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect abnormality before a coupling cylinder is completely dislocated. SOLUTION: A connection end 26 of a coupling cylinder 25 connected to the outlet of an ice making system unit 11 is fitted in an inlet body 20 of an ice storage chamber 15 in a state to be inserted by a given size A. When ice pieces are fed in an ice storage chamber 15 from a full storage owing to erroneous continuance of operation of the ice making system unit 11, a pressure in the ice storage chamber 15 and the coupling cylinder 25 is increased and the coupling cylinder 25 is forcibly pushed back from the inlet body 20. An engaging plate 51 of a moving plate 50 on the coupling cylinder 25 is latched at a latch part 67 of a latch plate 66 protruding from a wall surface 16A of the ice storage chamber 15. Further, when the coupling cylinder 25 is pushed back, a moving plate 50 is relatively moved over the coupling cylinder 25 with a compression spring 55 elastically compressed. A press plate situated at the other end of the moving plate 50 presses an abnormality detecting switch to turn ON the switch, and operation of the ice making system unit 11 is stopped. In this case, a connection end 25A of the coupling cylinder 25 is caused to remain in a state to be still fitted in the inlet body 20.
