PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition having a higher refractive index than conventional excellent adhesive compositions. SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises a polymeric compound and a benzothiazylthio compound to be represented by formula 1 (wherein R is -(CH2)n-, -NR1R2 or a group to be represented by formula 2; n is an integer of 0-2; R1 and R2 are each any one of H, CH3, C2H5, tert-C4H9, and cyclo-C6H11).
