摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an oxyalklene polymer containing hydrolyzable silyl group and having a high molecular weight and a narrow molecular weight distribution. SOLUTION: The oxyalkylene polymer containing a hydrolyzable silyl group is produced by reacting an alkylene oxide in the presence of a catalyst composed of a composite metal cyanide complex coordinated with a mixture of t-butyl alcohol and other compound as an organic ligand to obtain a polymer having a number-average molecular weight of 5,000-30,000 and a total unsaturation degree of <=0.02 meq/g and converting the terminal hydroxy group of the polymer into a hydrolyzable silyl group.
