PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for electric insulation, harly smelling, hardly freeding-out of unreacted materials at the initial stage of an usage, having improved crack resistance, and usable for a stabilizer for a fluorescent lamp, etc. SOLUTION: This resin composition for the electric insulation consists essentially of (A) an unsaturated polyester, (B) the first reactive monomer of an acrylic ester or a methacrylic ester, (C) the second reactive monomer of an aromatic vinyl compound, and (D) a rust-preventing agent, and obtained by formulating 100 pts.wt. unsaturated polyester (A) with 40-300 pts.wt. first reactive monomer (B), 0.5-5 pts.wt. second reactive monomer (C) and 0.1-0.5 pt.wt. rust-preventing agent (D).
