PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an index tube in which electron beam tubes having a diameter as large as possible can be used. SOLUTION: In this cathode-ray tube, the position of the electron beam tubes (7. 8, 9) is measured by arranging the conductor tracks (12, 13) at the bottom of each phosphor strip. The electron beam tubes (7, 8, 9) having a large diameter can be used by covering the conductor tracks (12, 13) partially by an electric insulating layer (14).
