PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lawn protection structure capable of protecting lawn and enabling greening even in a place repeatedly loaded. SOLUTION: A greening concrete 12 to be paved on the ground 14 is constructed by agglomerating low-alkaline cement, internally forming communicating spaces and at the same time filling a water-retaining material in the spaces. On the greening concrete 12, lawn growth-protection blocks 22 are placed. Inside of the lattice boxes of the lawn growth protection block 22 laid on the greening concrete 12, soil 24 is placed at a level lower than the lawn growth-protection block 22, and lawn 18 is planted on the soil 24. Even in the case where a tire 26 of a car moves on the lawn growth protection block 22, the law growth-protection block 22 does not sink into the soil 22. This makes soil 24 not agglomerate, and keep the water permeability and the air permeability. Accordingly, the growth and the activity of roots of the lawn 18 are not damaged, and the lawn 18 grows soundly; and long-lasting greening can be attained.
