PURPOSE: A recycling method for a vehicle air filter is provided to remove the foam generated in the process of grinding and dispersion procedure by a defoamer and prevent the environmental pollution since the phenolic resin in the air filter paper is not soluble. CONSTITUTION: A recycling method for a vehicle air filter includes the steps of adding NaOH and defoamer to crushed air filter paper, and grinding and dispersing the mixture, wherein the NaOH has a concentration of 1-5% and a content of 8-15wt% with respect to the air filter paper, the grinding and the dispersion is carried out at a temperature of 20-40°C for 30-40 minutes, and the defoamer has a content of 0.05-0.2wt% with respect to the air filter paper.
