PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material having high color developing property, ensuring little color mixture during processing and giving a color image, whose hue and light resistance are superior, and to provide a dye-forming compound having a pyrrolotriazole skeleton and capable of exhibiting such a performance. SOLUTION: The dye-forming compound is represented by formula (I), wherein R1 and R2 are each alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, aryl or a heterocyclic group, R1 and R2 may bond to each other to form a 5- or 6-membered N-containing heterocycle; R3 is alkyl, cycloalkyl or alkenyl; R4 and R5 are each H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, aryl or a heterocyclic group, and R4 and R5 may bond to each other to form a 5- or 6-membered N-containing heterocycle. The silver halide color photographic sensitive material contains the dye-forming compound as a cyan coupler.
