摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method and measuring device for crankshaft hardness capable of easily and automatically measuring the hardness of a curved surface such as spherical surface, cylindrical surface or the like to provide an extensive hardness measured data over the whole body of a member to be measured, thereby improving the measurement precision, and also measuring the hardness of the surface in a rough state after forging, heat treatment or the like to reduce the man-hours of measurement. SOLUTION: In the measurement of the hardness by a hardness meter by allowing a hardness meter to abut on the surface thereof, the origin matching of the hardness meter is performed by matching the center of an oil hole provided in a journal to the center of the contact end part of the hardness meter. The contact end of the hardness meter is allowed to abut on the crankpin or journal circumferential surface of a crank to measure the hardness, and further circumferentially offset to the crankpin or journal of the next crank throw on the basis of the oil hole to measure the hardness in this crank.
