PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedestal for supporting thereon electronic appliances whereby there can be cut down the total working process of the works for mounting EMI suppressing cores on cables and the works for fastening the cables to the pedestal, and there can be suppressed the possibility of damaging the cables. SOLUTION: On the top surface of a coupling member 103 positioned on the rear-surface side of a cabinet 15, each storing recessed portion 103a for storing therein a piece of ferrite core 401a is formed. In each case 402 fastened by screws onto the coupling member 103, there is stored another piece of ferrite core 401b which configures each magnetic circuit together with the piece of ferrite core 401a stored in each storing recessed portion 103a when fastening each case 402 onto the coupling member 103.
