PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bulk oxide thermoelectric conversion material representing a high thermoelectric conversion efficiency. SOLUTION: An oxide thermoelectric conversion material is manufactured which comprises an A2B2O5 compound (A is alkali earth metal element, B is transition metal element and/or rare earth element, and O is oxygen) having a structure where an A2BO3 insulating layer and a BO2 conductive layer are alternately laminated. The oxide powder of A is mixed with that of B before temporary baking. Then the powder of temporarily baked body is molded, which is heated and melted by a zone melt method so that a crystal growth is advanced along a b-axis.
