PURPOSE: Provided is a method for preparing high purity glucono-delta-lactone using a complex enzyme reaction of glucose oxidase and catalase. Therefore, high purity glucono-delta-lactone can be cost-effectively manufactured. CONSTITUTION: The method for preparing high purity of glucono-delta-lactone is characterized by reacting0.5-3.0 wt.% of oxidase and 0.5-3.0 wt.% of catalase in glucose solution containing 20-50 wt.% of glucose, at 30-40 deg.C and pH 5.0-8.0 with supplying 0.2-0.8vvm of oxygen.
