<p>A hair coloring composition comprises a colorant precursor which comprises at least one aromatic cycle having at least two hydroxyl groups carried by consecutive atoms, a para or ortho aromatic amine oxidation base and a catalytic system comprising salts or oxides of Mn(II) (manganese) and/or Zn(II) (zinc) and an alkali or alkaline earth metal hydrogen carbonate. The molar ratio of Mn(II), Zn(II) and Mn(II)+Zn(II) to the hydrogen carbonate is ≤ 1. An Independent claim is also included for a method of coloring keratinic matter by applying the composition.</p> |
