PURPOSE: A process cartridge, a process cartridge mounting mechanism and an electrophotographic image forming apparatus are provided to improve operation by installing and separating the process cartridge from a main assembly of the electrophotographic image forming apparatus conveniently and automatically. CONSTITUTION: A process cartridge is composed of an electrophotographic photosensitive drum(7); a process unit; a first cartridge frame portion extending in the cartridge mounting direction to the main assembly; a first cartridge guide protruded from the first cartridge frame portion to move the cartridge by moving a first main assembly guide; a second cartridge frame portion; a second cartridge guide; a first cartridge positioning part combined with a first main assembly positioning portion, and protruded from the first cartridge frame portion; and a second cartridge positing part. The process cartridge is conveniently installed and separated from the main assembly of the electrophotographic image forming device.
